Trick or Treat…

We had such a great response for our Halloween Caption Competition, and so I’d like to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone that sent in their very witty quips in response to the picture I posted. It was extremely hard to pick the winner and three runners up who will receive one of my sister Shani Struthers’ bestselling paranormal novels.

The winning caption was written by Jim Edgar:

“Lowry found in Hammer house of forgeries.”

Congratulations to Jim, a little painting in the style of L.S. Lowry will soon be on its way to your home.

Three runners up will receive a signed copy of one of Shani’s books (their choice) and they were:

I loved painting the little portraits in the style of L.S. Lowry sized 10 x 8 inches. Lowry painted these portraits of peculiars and eccentrics for company whilst looking after his sick mother. They weren’t meant for sale, but Monty Bloom, Lowry’s dealer, saw the little portraits and persuaded Lowry to part with them.

I, like Lowry find them compelling and magnetic.
