It has been a long time coming but at last I think the sun is trying to come out. There is nothing I like better than painting outside ‘En plein air’, with the easel out on the terrace and the view of the sea to inspire me.

There are quite a few projects in the pipeline for me to focus on this month, a Modigliani series about his life and works with a Brighton film company being one of them. I will keep you posted.

The final part of an interview I did with the charming Rosalind Esche (Dear Reader Blog) for her podcast Crime Writers in Conversation is out now on Audible, Amazon, Spotify, and Apple. We had a great chat, this instalment is about my theory on Tintoretto and Caravaggio, art critics, fakes and copying.

Finally, the new series ‘The Greatest Auction’ will broadcast on Channel 4 from Thursday 9th May at 8pm – I will be featuring in Episode 6 with a Basquiat inspired piece which went up for Auction. The show is an exciting and brand-new way of looking at the world of auction.
