This pandemic has scuppered most peoples’ holiday plans and with the prospect of a coronavirus second wave it’s time to get out and shop art while we can.

I’ve been working on some different projects throughout lockdown, not just forgeries but David Henty Originals too. I’m a huge boxing fan, so I’ve been looking for some great images that can be – to coin a brand new phrase! – Caravaggiolized. With some fantastic boxing characters, and notorious weigh-in clashes, there’s immense inspiration for producing modern day Caravaggio style art. Watch this space for some great pieces coming your way soon.

In other news, I’ve been in talks with Netflix concerning an exciting new series and have not one, but two programme ideas in the mix with Brighton’s very own Latest TV. Again, I’ll keep you updated.

It’s tough going for so many at the moment, but art can really lift the mood. Keep safe and remember that local galleries along with David Henty’s private viewing room are safe spaces for you to view art with masks available, plenty of sanitizer, and, of course, the appropriate distancing.
